About Me

My name is Sorrell Grace Penick, and I am 23 years old. My husband (Kendal) and I got married in May of 2021 and surprisingly found out we were pregnant only seven months later! We now have a young daughter (Stella) who is two years old, and we welcomed our second, a son we named Harvey, this past November! We live on a farm in Martin, Tennessee with chickens, goats, and cows! I have a bachelors degree in communication disorders from Murray State University. When I was pregnant and laboring with my daughter, I was so thankful to have a doula with me throughout my entire experience. It was through my birth experience that I learned I had a vast passion to advocate for pregnant women. Pregnancy and birth are such natural, vulnerable, personal, and beautiful experiences for a woman, and I would love to help you have your magical experience, wherever and whatever that may entail for you!

We have a secret in our culture, and it’s not that birth is painful. It’s that women are strong.
